Actor, director, productor and professor in the Theater, Nando Rocha is one of the founders of Ritual Theater Group, Degree in Stage Arts from the Federal University of Goiás. His experience as an actor begins as an autodidact, reading theories and practicing theater in the stages, learning in front of the audience, until he studied with the director and professor Sandro de Lima at CEFET –GO in 1998, with who expanded its referentials.
From then on he never stopped researching and investing on his formation. In trips to Campinas, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Curitiba, Este in Italy, Gottingüen in Germany, Lisbon in Portugal and Madri in Spain participated of workshops and advisory boards with big masters as Dani Lima, Luis Carlos Vasconcelos, Giovanni Aguiar, Graziela Figueredo, Luis Louis, Hugo Rodas, João Carlos Artigos, Grupo Baiadô, Carlos Simioni, Ricardo Pucceti, Jesser de Souza e Renato Ferracini (Lume Teatro), Alberto Gaus, Ésio Magalhães, Tiche Viana, Tadashi Endo and Norberto Presta and still keeps in interchange programs and workshops. He was a professor of theater for 10 years in the Colégio Lyceu of Goiânia, administered many workshops and performances, created projects in special at Faculdade Cambury (2003) and in the Centro Cultural Martim Cererê (1999-2005), besides collecting several prizes in his artistic career. Today, he also is a research professor at the Study and Research Center Ciranda da Arte where with a specialized team elaborates the curriculum of Theater for the Fundamental and Medium Study System in Goiás.
He develops research about the ritual body of the actor, a project that he wants to invest for his master’s thesis.
Pablo Angelino is one of the founders of the Ritual Theater Group. He acts in the country for more than 12 years, realizing performances in fairs, exam competitions and festivals, conquering important prizes. He was already a coordenator in the theater scene and worked as a teacher at the public educational system. Pablo graduated from the Universidade Federal de Goiás in Performing Arts, besides being an actor, develops a recognized work as an art educator and cultural productor. Develops research about the energy coming from traditional popular dance adding with the actor’s work, a project he wants to invest for his master’s thesis.
Ilka Portela is graduated in Scenic Arts from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), theater teacher in the public educational system, member of the Ritual Theater Group, where besides the works as an actrees, also acts as producer. Develops research about the clown art, seeking the creation of a physical comic body and sensitive in her work as an actress. Looks forward in the future the share her researches with other actors. Her first work as an actress in the Ritual Theater Group is the piece 3Partes from the Body of the Core of Creation. Is part of the team from the Core of Theatrical Creation Ciranda da Arte, a partnership made with the State secretariat of Education.
Actress and producer of the Ritual Theater Group, graduated in education from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). Was a member of the Research in Storytelling coordinated by the doctor, professor Ângela Barcellos Café, founder of the Gwaia Group of storytellers also at UFG. Nowadays she acts still as a teacher for the State secretariat of Education. Joined the Ritual Theater Group where keep developting her researches in storytelling in conjunction to the actor’s poetic-physical work. Her first work as an actress in the Ritual Theater Group is the piece 3Partes from the Body of the Core of Creation.
